No more card to Chanel - SLG New Hologram Sticker

With the new era of microchip on Chanel handbags, later it also abandoned using the tradition of serial number on small leather goods (SLG). Small leather goods refers to a range of accessories made of leather, such as wallets, card holders, coin purses and key holders. These SLGs also contain serial number like the handbags.

 

After 2021, the microchip started replacing the serial number hologram sticker. The serial number 31xxxxxx is the last serial code used on handbags, while SLGs still continued with 32xxxxxx hologram stickers in 2021 and 2022.

Starting in 2022, Chanel announced cancelling the serial number system and turned to new random code hologram sticker for the SLGs. Although it seems the only difference is the code became random instead of a serial number, SLGs no longer come with card.

 

 

The last serial number of 32xxxxxx launched in 2022.

 

 

The NEW hologram sticker with random numbers/letters; without card.

 

So, from now on, all Chanel items come with NO card or in serial number.
