Could you tell which one is Real/Fake? Spot the Counterfeit! 2

We have promised a more difficult level of Real/Fake in the previous session.

So, here you go! A Lady Dior counterfeit & an authentic Lady Dior in Fard Blush.

And did you spot the fake one out from the cover?

Let’s check out some details as well. I have taken some close-up photo as your reference. This is a really good class of counterfeit that the stitching and details are almost perfect to spot the differences.

1. The Leather Texture:

The authentic one's leather surface is relatively matte; while the fake one is quite glazed.

2. Leather Pigment/Colour:

This is a signature colour of Lady Dior - Fard Blush, which is too iconic and easy to spot out the pigmentation differences.

3. The Plated Logo "Christian Dior" at the Back of Dior Charm:

The authentic one's is with a pressed gold-plated stamp; while we can see that the fake one is a flat gold-plated stamp.

4. DIOR Charm Connecting Part:

The connecting part of DIOR Charm of authentic one is very tight and perfectly connected to the handle grommet ring; while that of the fake one is very loosed and thinner than the gap space provided.

5. CD Logo on Handle Grommet Ring:

In the close-up photo, you can differentiate them quite quickly when comparing them next to each other. 

Usually, to spot out a counterfeit, you can always check out the leather, fabrics, stitches, connecting parts, hardwares and logos.
